Geek Street Journal will be on Blogger starting on June 2022

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not posting anything on WordPress lately for the past couple of days. However, I would like to say that I had really enjoyed doing this blog even for a short while, but quite honestly when it comes to money that's also an issue. I don't have an alternative to where to get the money from but basically, I have to try for just completely anything that could be used as an alternative. Plus being busy with school work not to mention what's going on at Full Sail has really taken a lot out of you.

But fear not, I will come around, it's just that I haven't covered any related stories that have to do with geek culture. And apparently, the culture wars in comic books, graphic novels, anime and manga, and anything else related to geek culture are becoming plainly ridiculous and you don't see anything good coming up on youtube anymore especially when it comes to reactionary videos from YouTubers in the geek culture scene who are now attacking Hollywood for no good reason rather than accusing anyone who's considered an SJW, and what people nowadays are considered "grifters"

The witch-hunt of what they considered in the media as wokeness and SJW is really turned people off at an instant and it takes away what considered normal or acceptable. But instead replaced with a big lie of divisive counterpoint arguments for clout, fame, and notoriety.

Anywho, whether it's okay to continue to write articles on WordPress, under the same domain, or write articles on Blogger until I fix the situation on WordPress. Whatever the outcome it'll be I hope I can try to surpass this without any errors that would get in my way. Although it will take some time to create articles and cover some stories I've missed out on, it would be worth it.

In case you have some stories you really want me to cover please leave a comment down below and it would be much apppreciated.

Geek Street OUT!

Sorry for the absence, once again for the third time.....But I need your help.

Apparently, I have been busy with school work and quite honestly It's been really difficult to keep up with the demands and whatnot. However, it doesn't mean I've stopped typing articles entirely. But so far, it had been absolutely challenging, to say the least of writing a decent article, let alone keeping up with the seasons of Ninjala as a result.

But quite honestly, I'm running out of ideas and I need some suggestions on what to cover next article for Geek Street Journal. And so far, I've only covered the situation with Genshin Impact last week and the article today for High Guardian Spice.

High Guardian Spice Promo Pic

But either way, I'll try to keep up with the important stuff if that's what you want. But still, if you have any stories that you want me to cover please let me know in the comments section down below.

As always,

Geek Street Blog, OUT!

Ninjala Season 7 is out, and Lovin it!

Well, Season 7 of Ninjala is out for this year, and although some of the emotes and costumes fit the Halloween aesthetic horror, from the Medusa to Frankenstein I have to say, Ninjala has really got it going on. Although I have to confess that not all the players on Ninjala were not too happy with the Magical Girl Marie avatar costume is on a gumball gacha and the change in one of the Shinobi cards "Starting Dash". But either way, despite all this I'm looking forward to this year's season, and the reason for that is because Ninjala had welcomed some new players within the past few days in particular.

Despite missing out on the previous seasons, only to finish season 6 of Ninjala, I'm still looking forward to season 8 when they introduced the next lobby, which is the WNA resort, which is another thing everyone is looking forward to. But I mean, who knows, they'll might even work on a third story mode chapter of Ninjala to keep the game going and possibly bring back some past tier items on Ninjala.

But either way, what I'm really looking forward to while playing Ninjala is that of the collab of Hatsune Miku, which is coming up in October.

If you're a total fan of Hatsune Miku, and you want to see featured in a game, then Ninjala is the Place for you!

Geek Street Journal, OUT!

This week's recap from Geek Street Journal

So far there had been some visitors coming into the blog lately, however, I'm not completely out of the woods yet. I mean it really takes time to build up an audience. But so far at least a few people are coming in.

Unfortunately, I have to inform you that due to the amount of posting, and scheduling posts, the geek street journal will be posting blog comics for next week on Friday, August 20th. Along with posting reviews and recommendations as a result next week. I'm going to be starting on the 30th, But I'll still keep you completely posted.

Anywho here's this week's recap,

• Digimon Under Attack by Propagandists from the Far-Right on YouTube
• I was going to cover this story that had to do with Digimon and the political bias of cancel culture. However, it has to do with a lot of things besides making cancel culture a villain for a long time anime that was meant to sell toys. Anywho the creator and showrunner of Digimon Tamers told the fans of the show that he will give out more info of the script, just to clear out the confusion.

• How Cosplay Became a Phenomenon in the Fashion World?
• Cosplay had been a lifestyle not just for geeks but it's a career choice. But cosplay is more like a fashionable phenomenon in the fashion world. And what made it so interesting when it comes to covering this post, is that of how cosplaying changed comic book conventions around the world for decades.

• Funimation & Crunchyroll are merge into one, So…what could this mean for anime within the sub and dub community?
• The merging of Funimation and Crunchyroll has been the main talking point, some might say it's positive while others say it's negative. Either way, a lot of people don't know what to expect, if the merger would have an effect on anime streaming. But let's hope for the best.

There's a tropical storm/hurricane that's coming up tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have power in my home and possibly made it up alive.

Okay, that all the time I have, geek street blog OUT!

What was the latest highlights this week on Geek Street Journal?

Despite the fact, it was a bit of a rough start this week, but I've managed to publish at least 3 articles from the blog. And to tell you the truth, it wasn't that easy. But sometimes YouTube can be sometimes confusing when it comes to talking about random topics. However, it doesn't mean I didn't scale off from the important stuff on what's been going on this week.

Anywho, here on what's happening this week from Geek Street Journal in case you guys missed it!

• Lies, Deception, Misinformation from Hard-Right conservative YouTube comic book people, journalists, gamers, and other Hard-right blogs.
• Despite the fact, this article has everything to do with geek culture. But when it comes to prominent YouTubers who made their mark through social media and of course putting talking points that had to do with comic books, but in a negative light and political perspective, it really gives the middle finger to long-time comic book fans who just want to read the comics rather than listing to comic book YouTubers who not only are from the conservative side but basically have nothing to do than to cover the debacle about the comic book industry.
• https://geekstreetjournal.wordpress.com/2021/08/01/lies-deceptions-misinformation-from-hard-right-conservative-youtube-comic-book-people-journalists-and-gamers-and-hard-right-blogs/
• The Comic Book Industry is thriving and will survive, stop saying "dying" or in "ruins" because it is not.
• There had been so many stories about the state of the comic book industry, and they keep saying it's dying and it's on a complete stand-still or any other negative thing about it. And even though they haven't said a negative thing about the manga industry by touting all these mixed messages about manga doing better than comic books, the one they didn't do is that by doing some research to prove their claim. This is why I did an article on this and surprise, surprise the comic book industry is thriving, according to some statistics from a site called comichron. If you want to read more about the article I insisted that you do so in your free time. So all this talk about the comic book industry dying is all for nothing.

• Ariana Grande performing at Fortnite Rift Tour, on Friday.
• Just some info on the up-and-coming tour that's happening tomorrow online on Fortnite, a concert performing by Ariana Grande and hosted by Epic games.

Okay I hope that's enough for you. I better get going, I got some stuff to work on. So I don't want to keep you all hanging.

Geek Street Girl OUT!
